This start of March is not a nice one because of the so many unfortunate and heartbreaking incidents happening all around the world; everything seems going wrong. First the massacre in Kunming, and today the Malaysia Airline incident. Let's hope that everything will be fine and pray for the people. Meanwhile, these incidents remind us that life can be so unpredictable and vulnerable, and as mentioned in many comments under the "Question for Today", we should really treasure what we have at the moment and love in time, for everything is not guaranteed... and let's not give ourselves any chance for regrets.
This reflection of life can be linked to the video that we watched during class on Wednesday about an old man seeing a young man at a grave. There are many messages that the video tries to convey and that includes: how life can be so vagaries with people leaving us every day, no matter old or young, and how people can be so judgmental by just looking at the superficial things. Sometimes, we can be judgmental. We look at other's appearance or doings and decide our opinion on that person, but this is wrong. We never know what others are going through and their stories behind. That's why we need to be kind, or at least not be mean to one another, for we know nothing about each other's hard battles and we should do nothing to make them harder.

Kicking Off the LEAP!
This week, our group started the LEAP. We distributed eggs with funny faces and encouraging words to the UM community. It was quite a windy, gloomy day. Although the eggs might not be very warm when they were given to the recipients, I hope that they can still feel the warm messages that we'd like to deliver. I'm happy that one recipient, who was a friend of mine, posted photos on Instagram saying that the eggs were cute and thanking for giving her some warmth when she was suffering in the cold weather, which is very encouraging!
Thank you Group D, for giving me a great LEAP experience and let's make the next experience even better together :). Thank you Prof. Udani and the HC classmates who supported us too!
