This week, we had the second leadership workshop - S.M.I.L.E.. This time, I was an audience, just like the year one students, enjoying the performance of my classmates. I must say that they did a very good job. Compared to the first workshop, they reserved more chances for the year one students to share their views and interact. Below is some of the reflection and feelings towards this workshop.
I love the session "Expressing Thanks" the most. In this session, we had to write some words of appreciation or thanks on people's back. I think that this idea is so great! It reminds me of the sweet wordings which my childhood friends wrote on my back when we did the same thing a long time ago. It was very funny and heart-warming to see the scene of people writing on each other's back and finally ending up in a long queue. Moreover, it was so touching to see many classmates have written on my back. Actually I was quite surprised when I tore the paper from my back and read the sentences, because most of them were somethings which I didn't expect to be thanked for. Trillion thanks to all of you - you guys made my gleeful day! I felt happy after writing on others' backs, and felt equally happy when I received others' thanks - that's the power of gratitude (proved!).

Another part which I love so much was the performance by Claire, Chark and the special guest River. The performance was simply awesome! They sang so beautifully that I even replayed it for a few times on Youtube HAHA! Overall, the workshop was wonderful and I truly appreciate all the effort made by the organizers. Thank you for giving us such a incredible experience.
THE EVER-CHANGING LIFE
Just heard that it was confirmed that MH370 was confirmed to have crashed in the south Indian Ocean with no survivors. What a disheartening news... May the victims rest in peace and their families stay well and strong. And I think the world needs an explanation - a truth - too.
There are so many heartbreaking things happening all around the world which we couldn't prevent. All we can do is to do our little parts to make up for the missing beauty in the worlds these days.
