FIRST EXPERIENCE
In last Wednesday's class, I danced, and it was actually the first time in my life - I never danced before. I have always admired people who are good at dancing because I think it is really a difficult thing for me to coordinate my limbs to work out some beautiful movements. What makes it even a more difficult thing for me is that I need to perform in front of many people. In my high school, I spent quite a long time to overcome the fear of speaking in front of the class. But this time, I was less afraid, because I had a whole girls' dance group to perform together with me. Haha, everything is just much easier when they are not done alone - as always! I'm glad that the performance has entertained the class and brought happiness to you all.

THE GUANGZHOU TRIP
Talking about first experience, I think some of us also made a first and also impressive experience in the GZ voluntary trip. For me, it was the first time I farm; the first time I get along with the intellectual disabled; and of course, the first time I go to a trip with my HC buddies.
This was a fruitful trip - much learned, much gained. What did I learn? Seeing those intellectual disabled people, I understand better about happiness. They are smiling and laughing all the time. Their source of happiness may just be a little thing, a thing which will definitely not be my source of happiness. Their happiness is very simple. Their way of showing love is simple too, yet very straightforward - they hug; they clap hands; they dance; they laugh. Although they couldn't produce fluent speech, they expressed their warmest welcome to us by pulling us chairs, pouring us drinks and holding our hand to walk with us. All these provoke a thought in me. Why can't we live the same way - so simple, so carefree? Why fill our minds with worries? I don't have the answers to these questions, but after this precious encountering, I'm sure I have found a new definition of happiness.
What did I gain? I gained precious memories and got to know more about my HC friends. It is really awesome to get along with them outside the classroom and know more about them in different ways. We sweat; we chat; we play cards and we smile together. It is really really so nice to go to a relaxing trip during this busy semester with you all. This happy trip is an experience which I will not forget.
